Waga Energy, an expert in producing Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) from landfills, announces the appointment of Yann Pierre as Group Sales Director, starting August 19, 2024. Reporting to Chief Executive Officer, Mathieu Lefebvre, Yann Pierre will head up all sales activities (business development, RNG sales, contract management, marketing, etc.) and is tasked with accelerating the Group鈥檚 growth across international markets.
A graduate of Polytech Nancy, Yann Pierre draws on his proven international expertise in RNG and waste-to-energy. As one of France鈥檚 forerunners in the industry, Yann Pierre has spent the past 20 years developing more than 300 RNG production projects, both in Europe and North America. His track record includes France鈥檚 first biomethane injection project using agri-food waste, in the Lille region.
