Winters Bros. Waste Systems of Long Island and WM announced that the entities have merged to establish Long Island鈥檚 leading waste and environmental services providers.听 The transaction was completed on July 15, 2024.听 Terms of the deal were not announced.

The merger strengthens WM鈥檚 national service platform and integrate the collection, transfer, and recycling operations from Winters Bros. on Long Island.听 The transaction includes all of Winters Bros.鈥 hauling operations, long-haul logistics, plus 12 transfer stations and recycling operations on Long Island.
