Sortworthy, a textile recycling company, announced its decision to move its headquarters from Florida to Northwest Arkansas. The move comes with a $3 million investment into a recycling facility and is anticipated to create 40 new jobs by 2030, according to a company news release.

Sortworthy expects the move to be finalized in early 2025; however, it is still looking for the ideal location for its new facility in the Bentonville area. The decision to move to the region was a natural choice, according to the company, because of the thriving business ecosystem, commitment to sustainability and “unparalleled sense of community.”

“The warmth and ingenuity of the people of Arkansas make this an ideal place for Sortworthy to grow and thrive,” the company stated in its release. “We’re eager to be part of this vibrant region, creating jobs, driving innovation, and collaborating with local communities.”
