The company recently completed a multi-year capital improvement project at its St. James, La., plant to improve operational reliability and strengthen competitiveness for the future.听听
Additional sustainability efforts in 2023 focused on collaboration with stakeholders to bring advanced recycling to scale and ensure it is recognized as an important part of the overall solution for addressing plastic waste. ISCC PLUS certifications and branding licenses also increased, along with sales of circular polystyrene and styrene to customers in a variety of industries. In addition, AmSty is leading the industry launch of the Polystyrene Recycling Alliance (PSRA) to improve recycling access across the U.S.听听
