Linden, NJ, Mayor Derek Armstead recently toured the site of the Aries Linden Biosolids Gasification Facility and discussed progress made to date with Aries’ Construction Manager Steve Barrett. The mayor is looking forward to this environmentally friendly method of biosolids disposal that will process 430 tons per day.
In the photo below, the thermal oxidizer is set in place. Inside the thermal oxidizer, the gas converted from the biosolids will be combusted to release energy for the drying process. Hot gas will exit through the round holes. The square hole is a maintenance entrance.
Construction is expected to continue through first quarter of 2021.
