The Director of Solid Waste provides strategic operational oversight, direction, and coordination to ensure safe and efficient operations of Metro Waste Authority鈥檚 solid waste operations including, landfills, transfer stations, maintenance facilities, and compost facilities as directed by the Executive Director. Ensures compliance with standard operating procedures and safety programs while effectively managing to improve performance and productivity by ensuring the highest standards of environmental safety and operational excellence are met.
