Keep Tennessee Beautiful will host a Bill Dance Signature Lake Beautification and Conservation event on November 7 at the Hatchie River. Volunteers are asked to meet at Hwy. 70 Boat Access, Stanton, TN. KTnB is the official beautification and conservation partner for the Bill Dance Signature Lakes. The event is part of Tennessee鈥檚 鈥淣o Trash November鈥 campaign and a Keep Tennessee Waterways Beautiful Community Event.
听In addition to KTnB鈥檚 participation, other sponsors include Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, Tennessee Department of Tourist Development, Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, Blue Oval Ford Community Relations, Bass Pro Shops, and First Bank. 鈥淥ne of the key pillars of the state of Tennessee鈥檚 Bill Dance Signature Lakes initiative focuses on conservation and natural resource stewardship,鈥 Dennis Tumlin, chief customer officer, Tennessee Department of Tourist Development, said. 鈥淲e kicked-off our stewardship efforts at Herb Parson鈥檚 Lake, which is near and dear to Bill Dance. Now we鈥檙e moving on to the Hatchie River cleanup. We鈥檙e thankful for our partnership with Keep Tennessee Beautiful as we work to educate the next generation about our corporate responsibility and stewardship goals.鈥
