The American Biogas Council (ABC) announced it has appointed three new hires to support the strategic growth and development of the biogas industry鈥擧anna Haken盲s as Vice President of Training, Alycia Tolman as Director of Carbon Markets, and Tyler Shore as Director of Sales.
Haken盲s will lead the trade association鈥檚 training program, enhancing its existing curricula, and developing new courses to train today鈥檚 and tomorrow鈥檚 professionals in the US biogas industry. Tolman will lead the expansion of markets based on biogas systems鈥 carbon-reduction benefits, and how they are calculated and monetized. Shore will lead ABC鈥檚 sales team to help the council connect with brother and sister industries, while promoting the growth of its events, including the industry鈥檚 largest trade show, BIOGAS AMERICAS.

Hanna Haken盲s brings over 15 years鈥 experience in renewable energy, most recently at Brightmark, where she established the asset management team for the company鈥檚 dairy renewable natural gas (RNG) facilities and set operational strategies to optimize asset profitability and support future growth. Additionally, Hanna brings significant experience from the wind industry, having worked for one of the largest owner/operators of wind energy assets globally, where she led large teams across operations, budget management, inventory management, and technical training.
Alycia Tolman brings nearly 10 years of utility experience at Consumers Energy, where she focused on renewable energy and decarbonization. During her time there, Alycia launched and managed the company鈥檚 first-ever voluntary renewable natural gas and carbon offset programs as well as other renewable offerings. Prior to her work on renewable energy programs, she led cross-functional teams focused on improving performance of the company鈥檚 highest priority metrics through the deployment of lean problem solving and process improvement methodologies.
Tyler Shore comes to the ABC with nearly 10 years鈥 experience in sports management and marketing, most recently as Director of Sales at P4S Golf, a company on the forefront of golf therapy, fitness, and performance. Prior to his work there, Tyler served as General Manager of the Battle Creek Battle Jacks, a team within the Northwoods League developmental league for elite college baseball players.
