The National Recycling Coalition (NRC) announces its partnership with the New York State Association for Reduction, Reuse and Recycling (NYSAR3) to host the 2021 National Recycling Congress.聽This year鈥檚 Congress will be held November 3 鈥 4, 2021 in a completely virtual format to bring together officials all across North America in this premier two-day event featuring national experts and practitioners together for education and networking. Key focus areas of this year鈥檚 event include best practices, national legislation, climate change, market development, circular economy, buy recycled, and issues to meet the current needs around justice, equity, diversity and inclusion.

鈥淣RC will bring the same professional and exciting opportunities to attendees virtually as we have provided in over 38 years of in-person events, with interactive sessions and fun engagement activities reminiscent of Congresses from the past,鈥 said Bob Gedert, President of the NRC. 鈥淲e know that with a pandemic still looming and budgets tight, a virtual event means more participation from the broadest group of those working in the areas of waste reduction, reuse, repair, recycling, composting, sustainable materials management and the circular economy.鈥
